Electrical PAT testing is a requirement of the Occupational Health and Safety Regulation. It is designed to provide a safe working environment for employees and visitors who may come into contact with electrical appliances within the work place.
In the event of an accident you need to be able to prove to the Health & Safety Executive that you have taken responsible precautions to ensure that all the electrical items are safe.
